Christina Christensen

Christina Christensen is an experienced professional cello teacher and freelance performer cellist currently teaching play on cello at Trinity college, Australia. She has composed to many films and her effort and talent has not been unrecognised, as she has been awarded for her cello score for the 16 mm drama ‘The Art of Walking’. She gained her Bachelor of Music degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1998. She has extensive performance experience from studies in Copenhagen, Denmark and playing with the Sjaellands Symphony Orchestra. Her travels in Europe gave her the opportunity to play in Master classes and music festivals with some of the best classical musicians in the world. She has taught at the Tamworth Conservatorium of Music and The MacDonald’s College of Performing Arts.
